WhyUse a Nebuliser?

A nebuliser is a mechanical device that changes medication from a liquid to a fine mist so that it can be more easily inhaled into the lungs.

They are particularly effective in delivering medication to small animal patients when long term systemic drug therapy is not desirable if the patient has difficulty using a MDI (Metered Dose Inhaler). Nebulisation therapy is often referred to as a "breathing management".

Uses of Flexineb C1

A variety of medications can be used with Flexineb C1 including bronchodilators, antibiotics, corticosteroids, mucolytics and natural solutions. These can be used for both immediate relief and maintenance of various respiratory conditions.

Nebulisation can be used to help manage and maintain various respiratory conditions in a number of species of small animals such as:

The Flexineb C1 has 2 types of interface to manage your pet. The first uses soft silicone masks as the interface between the nebuliser and patient. This makes the procedure portable. These silicone masks come in 3 sizes, (small, medium and large) to suit all patient types.

The second interface is a small animal aerosol management chamber. This can be used for cats and small dogs that are unwilling to be managed using the silicon mask interface. The chamber can also be used to manage a number of other small animals including rabbits, guinea pigs, birds and tortoises.
