Nebulising solution for respiratory care
bi-medEctoin® easy breathe is suitable for the care, moisturising and cleansing of the respiratory tract of horses and helps maintain a healthy respiratory system.
The solution containing the natural stress protection molecule bi-medEctoin® sustainably moisturises the airways and at the same time forms a water-based protective barrier against pollen, dust and other external influences that can irritate the airways.
Make sure to dilute bi-medEctoin® easy breathe ampoules with sodium chloride (0.9%) before use. The diluted solution can be used daily and regularly and, depending on the mixing ratio, also long-term. It is suitable for all common nebulisers.
From a regulatory perspective, bi-medEctoin® easy breathe is classified as an animal care product and is not intended to diagnose, treat or cure disease, nor does it replace veterinary advice or treatment. However, it may be used as a supportive care measure in consultation with your veterinarian.

Productinformation
Composition: Sterile solution consisting of 13% Ectoin and water.
Dilute with sodium chloride (NaCl 0.9%) before use (see application).
Contents: 30 ampoules with 5ml solution each
Ectoin is a clinically intensively researched molecule of natural origin with a wide range of applications, including in horses. It has a purely physical effect and is not metabolised.
Application
Please dilute the ampoules with sodium chloride (NaCl 0.9%) before application and use a nebuliser for horses to apply the diluted solution as an aerosol.
Depending on the area of application, use one of the the following mixing ratios:
· Isotonic mixing ratio
1 ampoule (=5ml) + 25-45 ml NaCl (0.9%)
The isotonic mixing ratio is suitable for regular and long-term use. For example, for the care and moisturising of the airways or in times of high exposure to dust, dirt, pollen and other irritants. Initially, we recommend a daily use for approx. 4 weeks. Afterwards, the application can be reduced to 2–3 times a week or paused as needed.
· Hypertonic mixing ratio
2 ampoules (=10 ml) + 20-40 ml NaCl (0.9%)
The hypertonic mixing ratio is suitable for more intensive care of the airways. It should be used as a course over a period of 2–3 weeks. After that you can proceed with an isotonic mixing ratio for long-term moisturising and care.
Please note: The solution is an animal care product and should not be used as a carrier liquid for medication!
