The bitopEQUI® LUNG Complete is suitable for the care, moisturising and cleansing of the respiratory tract of horses – especially during periods of increased exposure to dust, pollen and other environmental influences.
The isotonic ready-to-use solution with the natural stress protection molecule bi-medEctoin® sustainably moisturises the airways and at the same time forms a water-based protective barrier against pollen, dust and other external influences that can irritate the airways.
The isotonic mixing ratio makes bitopEQUI® LUNG Complete suitable for daily and long-term use. The ready-mixed solution is immediately ready for use, does not need to be diluted further and is suitable for all common nebulisers.
Please be aware that bitopEQUI® LUNG Complete is an animal care product. It is designed for the regular care of the airways and is suitable as a complementary grooming measure in everyday stable and training routines.

Productinformation
Composition: Sterile ready-to-use solution consisting
of 1.3% Ectoin, sodium chloride (0.9%) and water.
Contents: 500 ml
The isotonic ready-to-use solution can be removed quickly and easily and used directly. No further dilution is necessary. To maintain sterility, we recommend to use a cannula or extra spike for withdrawal through the silicone device in the lid.
Ectoin is a clinically intensively researched molecule of natural origin with a wide range of applications, including in horses. It has a purely physical effect and is not metabolised.
Application
bitopEQUI® LUNG Complete is applied as an aerosol using a nebuliser for horses. The solution is ready to use and can be nebulised without further dilution.
Use the filling volume of your nebuliser (10-50 ml depending on the model in use) daily or as required.
Initially, we recommend a daily use for approx. 4 weeks. Afterwards, the application can be reduced to 2–3 times a week or paused as needed.
To maintain sterility, you should withdraw the solution through the silicone-sealed opening of the lid using a cannula or an extra spike. We only recommend completely unscrewing the lid if you use the entire solution within one day.
Once the solution has been opened, you should use it up within 30 days. You can note the date of first use on the label of the bottle. If the lid is open or the bottle has been in use for too long, we cannot guarantee the sterility of the solution and advise against further use.
Please note: The solution is an animal care product and should not be used as a carrier liquid for medication!
