Cleaning your Flexineb unit involves two separate procedures: one for the Flexineb E3 Cup and another
for the other parts of the set.
For the Flexineb E3 Cup:

• Clean the Flexineb E3 Cup after each use
• Always protect the electronics using the clear cap
• Clean with distilled water and one drop of mild dish soap
• Rinse thoroughly and air dry
• Never use sharp objects
• Do not use harsh or chemical cleaners
  

For other parts of the Flexineb E3:

• Remove electronic components (controller, cable, Flexineb E3 Cup) before cleaning
• Completely disassemble the set for cleaning
• Use a disinfectant spray and water to gently wash the parts, avoiding harsh chemicals
• Rinse the inside of the mask and chamber thoroughly and dry the parts with a clean tissue paper
• Store the cleaned parts in a cool, dry place, ensuring the electronics remain dry and safe

Flow Rate:
Typically 1.0 ml/min with 0.9% NaCl solution. The flow rate is very dependent on the solution nebulized.
Aerosol Droplet Size:
Flexineb E3 generates aerosol droplets in the respirable range for delivery to the airways of the horse. The aerosol droplet size is highly dependent on the solution nebulized.
Flexineb E3 Cup Volume:
The Flexineb E3 Cup will hold 10ml of liquid but is expandable to 30ml using the Flexineb Cup Volume Extender supplied. The Flexineb E3 Controller has a timer function therefore, if the Flexineb Cup Volume Extender is used the Controller will need to be re-started to complete the nebulization.
Battery Power:
Battery Type: 7.4V Li-ion rechargeable battery. Use the Flexineb supplied battery only. Use of another type of battery may present a risk of fire or explosion.
Operating Time: 6 hours from fully charged.
Battery Charging:
Use the Flexineb supplied charger only. Use of an alternative charger may present a risk of fire or explosion. A fully discharged battery can take 4 to 5 hours to reach full charge.
Mains Power Supply: (Input: 100 to 240v AC / 50 to 60 Hz)
The Flexineb E3 can also be operated using the Charger provided with the set. The same Charger charges the battery. Use the Flexineb Charger only. Use of an alternative Charger may present a risk of fire or explosion and void warranty.

Operating: 5° C to 45°C and up to 95% RH
Storage and Transportation: -20°C to +45°C and 15% to 95% R

The Flexineb warranty covers various components for different periods as follows:

• Controller Warranty: 2 years from the date of purchase, covering free replacement or repair if the issue is confirmed not to be due to user error.
  Exclusions: Water damage, incorrect charger usage, and physical damage due to impact are not covered.
• Battery Warranty: 6 months from the purchase date.
• Other Parts Warranty: 2 years for all parts.
• Flexineb E3 Cup: The Flexineb E3 cup is considered a wearable part and is not covered under the
  standard warranty. Its lifespan is affected by the substances nebulized and how well it is maintained.

Flexineb E3 Cup Lifespan
The E3 cup is designed for an expected lifespan of up to 100 uses when used exclusively with 10ml of 0.9% saline solution. If other solutions are used, the lifespan may be reduced by up to 50%. Users who nebulize specialized or medicated substances should expect a shorter duration of effective use.
