Buying & Using Flexineb Products
Your Account
You have the right to check out as a guest, without creating an Account with us. However,
there are some benefits of creating a Flexineb Account, including:
- The ability to manage your personal data from your Account
- The option to store delivery addresses and payment information for easy checkout
- Overview of your orders
You can create an Account when you make a purchase at check-out or by clicking here.
You can amend your details, addresses and payment methods in your Account at any time.
How to purchase
Products may be ordered by clicking on the items you wish to buy and then following the prompts that will appear on-screen. You may check and correct any input errors in your order up until the point at which you submit your order to us by clicking the "Buy Now" button on the checkout page.
After placing an order, you will receive an message from us on screen confirming that we have received your order and showing you the order reference number. This does not mean that your order has been accepted. Your order constitutes an offer to us to buy the Product(s) ordered. All orders are subject to acceptance by us. We are not obliged to accept your order and may, at our discretion, decline to accept any order. If, for example, we do not have the stock to fulfil all or part of your order, we will contact you to explain that the order or part of it has not been accepted and will refund your payment for the part of the order that cannot be fulfilled.
Prices and Payment options
The price of our Products is as quoted on the Site and may change from time to time.
Prices shown include VAT but exclude delivery costs, which will be added (at the cost shown) to the total amount due when you check out.
Prices and delivery may change at any time, but changes will not affect orders you have already placed and received an Order Confirmation.
The Site contains a number of Products and it is always possible that, despite our best efforts, some of the Products listed on the Site may be incorrectly priced. We will normally verify prices as part of our dispatch procedures so that, where a Product's correct price is less than our stated price, we will charge you the lower amount. If a Product's correct price is higher than the price stated on the Site, we will normally, at our discretion, either contact you for instructions before despatching the Product, or reject your order and notify you of such rejection.
Payment for all orders must be made by credit card on the Shopify page. We accept payment by most major credit cards. Where it is possible to fulfil your order, we will charge your card immediately on purchase. If the item you order is not in stock or it is not possible to fulfil the order for some other reason, your card will be refunded. You should be aware that online payment transactions are subject to validation checks by your card issuer and we are not responsible if your card issuer declines to authorise payment for any reason. Please note, it is possible that your card issuer may charge you an online handling fee or processing fee. We are not responsible for this.
From time to time we may run promotions where we issue discount codes. These can be used in part-payment of the price of Product(s) ordered online, subject to the terms under which they were issued (as indicated in our promotion materials from which you got the code). Discount codes can only be used once, and only during the period of validity stated and only in respect of the relevant Product(s) stated. Discount codes cannot be redeemed for cash.
Delivery
Your order will be fulfilled by the delivery date set out in the Order Confirmation or, if no delivery date is specified, then within 30 days after the date of the Order Confirmation, unless there are exceptional circumstances and except in the case of pre-orders.
If you place a pre-order before the availability date shown on the relevant Product page (and we accept it), the pre-ordered Product(s) will be despatched on the availability date and delivered by the delivery date set out in the Order Confirmation but in any case not later than 10 days after the availability date.
If your delivery address is geographically remote, for example certain outlying islands or other isolated locations, it is possible that we may not be able to deliver there. If that is the case, we will notify you before we accept your order. We reserve the right not to deliver to any country that is prohibited by applicable export laws. Orders cannot be delivered to PO Box or similar addresses.
Products comprised within the same order cannot be delivered to different addresses.
Deliveries are made by courier and/or national postal services and take place on Monday to Saturday, excluding bank and public holidays, usually within the hours of 8am and 5pm. It is not possible to specify a precise time at which a delivery will take place.
Our courier may contact you to arrange delivery. Please note that the courier may require deliveries to be signed for.
If you order Product(s) for delivery outside the European Union, they may be opened and inspected by customs authorities and may be subject to import duties and taxes which are levied when the delivery reaches the specified destination. You will be responsible for payment of any such import duties and taxes. Please note that we have no control over these charges and cannot predict their amount. Please check with your local customs office for further information before placing your order.
Consumer Cancellation Rights
If you are purchasing from us as a consumer (not for your business), you may purchase at any time before your order is delivered and up to 14 days afterwards, beginning on the day after your order is delivered to you. If you cancel, you will receive a full refund of the price paid for the Product(s), excluding shipping costs, in accordance with our refunds policy (see below). To cancel an order within 14 days of receiving the Products, you must contact us: by email to [email protected] with your name, address and order reference; or by completing a copy of the Returns Notice enclosed with the Product(s) on delivery. You must return the Product(s) to us within 14 days after the day of notifying us of the cancellation, in the same condition in which you receive them. You are permitted to take any reasonable steps to examine the Product(s) and make sure they conform to your order). Flexineb Products may be sealed for hygiene and safety and used Products cannot be resold. Any Products returned with hygiene or security seals removed or showing signs of use will not be refunded if returned. You are required to take reasonable care of the Product(s) while in your possession. If you fail to comply with this obligation, we may have a right to deduct the cost of any damage, up to the price of the Product(s), from the refund to which you are otherwise entitled. Any such deduction from the refund does not apply in scenarios in which the Product(s) were damaged or faulty when delivered to you or have been incorrectly delivered.
To return the Product(s), you should:
- package the parcel securely (making sure you include a note of your name and address (enclosing the Returns Notice, if we have provided one) inside the parcel) using the original box if possible. If you are returning a Product that is or includes a battery please follow the return instructions for this very carefully.
- attach the returns label provided;
- return it to us, either by courier or by recorded delivery mail or other form of certified mail or, if the Product(s) are too bulky to return by mail, then by a suitable carrier, to the following address: Nortev Limited, Unit 14, Westlink Commercial Park, Oranmore, Galway, Ireland.
We advise that you take out enough postal/carriage insurance to cover the value of the contents. Please save your proof of posting/despatch and tracking information until your refund has been processed. You will be responsible for the cost and risk of returning the Product(s) to us , except in the case of items which we substitute if the precise Product(s) you order are not in stock. Unfortunately, Products cannot be returned to any store. Details of the consumer rights described above, and an explanation of how to exercise them, are provided in the Order Confirmation. Nothing in this section affects your legal rights.
Our Refunds Policy
If you cancel a Contract between us within the 14-day cooling-off period (see above), we will process any refund due to you as soon as possible and, in any case, within 14 days after the day on which we receive the Product(s) back or, if earlier, the day on which we receive evidence that you have returned the Product(s) to our returns address (see above). We will refund the price paid in full (subject to any deduction we are entitled to make due to your use of or damage to the Product(s)), including the cost of standard delivery. However, we will not refund your cost of returning the Product(s) to us. If you received any promotion or other discount when you paid, any refund will only reflect the amount you actually paid.
Faulty Products
If you believe a Product was delivered damaged or faulty or has developed a fault within the warranty period, you should inform us as soon as possible, by email to [email protected], giving your name, address and order reference. Nothing in this section affects your legal rights.
How to use your Flexineb System
Simple steps that make the difference
Step 1
Fill the Flexineb E3 Cup and turn on the Flexineb E3 Controller
Step 2
The liquid is converted to a fine mist (aerosol) through vibration of the mesh/membrane
(90 thousand times per second)
Step 3
The fine mist is released into the Aerosol Holding Chamber
Step 4
The available aerosol is actively inhaled by your horse
Step 5
Fine particles are delivered to your horse’s lungs
Step 6
Your horse exhales through the exit valve. The cycle repeats with every breath
Cleaning and Care
Cleaning your Flexineb unit involves two separate procedures: one for the Flexineb E3
Cup and another for the other parts of the set.
Flexineb E3 Cup:
- Clean the Flexineb E3 Cup after each use
- Always protect the electronics using the clear cap
- Clean with distilled water and one drop of mild dish soap
- Rinse thoroughly and air dry
- Never use sharp objects
- Do not use harsh or chemical cleaners
Other parts of the Flexineb E3:
- Remove electronic components (controller, cable, Flexineb E3 Cup) before cleaning
- Completely disassemble the set for cleaning
- Use a disinfectant spray and water to gently wash the parts, avoiding harsh chemicals
- Rinse the inside of the mask and chamber thoroughly and dry the parts with a clean
tissue paper - Store the cleaned parts in a cool, dry place, ensuring the electronics remain dry and safe
Recycling – packaging
Our packaging is almost entirely made of recyclable cardboard some cities offer curbside recycling. Flatten the box before putting it in your recycling bin. Where not available, use designated recycling station where cardboard is accepted. For recycling options in Ireland: Find a recycling station
Recycling - the Flexineb system
Mask, Aerosol Chamber, medication cups – These parts of the Flexineb mask are not currently recyclable. When they have reached the end of their lifespan, we recommend disposing of them at your local refuse centre. Waste electrical equipment - Flexineb Products may include controllers, batteries, and charging cables and adaptors. These are subject to special disposal and recycling requirements for Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment (WEEE). Flexineb's WEEE Ireland Producer Registration Number is 2784WB. All WEEE and waste batteries must be recycled and should not be placed in any of your household wheelie bins. Make sure you always recycle all your old electrical goods and batteries If you'd like to dispose of electrical or electronic equipment for recycling, we recommend that you: Take it to an authorised recycling collection point run by your local authority. For information about collection points in Ireland, visit WEEE Ireland (external link). Each local authority must accept household WEEE and small batteries free of charge at its recycling facilities.
Packaging and Shipping Instructions for Flexineb Returns and Recycling
Ensure that the Product is undamaged or damaged in a way that it has not become hazardous to ship it. If the Product contains batteries which are damaged, leaking, defective or subject to recall by us do not ship them back to us. Please contact [email protected] about returning these Products. Make sure that the Product is free from contamination by chemicals, biological agents or other substances. If your equipment has lithium cells and batteries installed in the equipment (for example the Flexineb controller) or is packed with the equipment, you should have special care: The Product should be packed with strong outer packaging. If using cardboard boxes, they must be strongly constructed, preferably with seams that are stitched or stapled, not merely glued. Use boxes that are at their full strength and that have not been compromised by humidity. Seal your box with duct-tape (preferably reinforced). Packages must be marked with "LITHIUM BATTERIES FOR RECYCLING" and have the following label attached.
